Conference: Pacific Gateways - International Travel Writing Symposium (Nov 24-25, 2017)

"Pacific Gateways - International Travel Writing Symposium", an international conference on English literature (including travel writing, novels, journalism, and poetry) with Pacific geographies and cultures in the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, will be held on November 24 to 25 at University of Tokyo.

I am member of the Organizing Committee along with Laurence Williams (University of Tokyo), Stephen Clark (University of Tokyo), and Tristanne Connolly (St Jerome's University in the University of Waterloo).

I will also be giving a paper at "Panel 6: Editing the Pacific" on Saturday, Nov 25 at 1:30 p.m.
