Mark your calendars!

Our speakers this time are: - Jerome de Groot (University of Manchester) - "Double-Helix History"

-Aya Ikegame (University of Tokyo) - "Gurus and Development in Modern India"

- Taylor Mignon (Tokyo Poetry Journal) - "Do Dos and Don’t Don’ts: Poem Inspired by Torii Shozo”

- Giovanni Pellone (Designer) "We are all designers: We just don’t know it" Talks are all pitched at a general audience, and there will be plenty of time to relax with a drink and meet other attendees. The talks will end around 9:30, although please free to hang around afterwards to talk to the speakers. Best of all, the event is entirely FREE (please just buy at least one drink at the bar). You can find more details, and photos of previous cafes, on our website. **What is Tokyo Humanities? Founded in late 2016 to promote humanities study in Tokyo and encourage links between researchers and the public, we maintain an online calendar of lectures in Tokyo, a "cafe" series, and "Quick Questions" interviews with researchers. Check out our website (https://www.tokyohumanities.org/). NOTE: The date of this event has been changed FROM Tuesday April 3 TO Monday April 2. Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience.
